Changelog
Guide Updates
The Big Walk Guide is a living project — the game shipped on August 4, 2026, and its patches keep changing the details. Our pages get revised whenever a fact gets confirmed or a reader flags a mistake, and this page is the dated record of every revision, so you can see at a glance how current the guide is.
FAQ long-tail expansion & content-page upgrades
- The FAQ grew from twelve to twenty answers, covering the questions players actually search for: how backpacks work, where the map and the tunnels are, how to get the train running, whether progress saves, and more.
- The backpack guide gained a carry-setup table at the top, and the beginner guide gained a before-you-press-start preparation table — both restating facts already verified on the page.
- The about page now documents how every fact is researched and revised.
- Launched this changelog page — every future guide revision will be logged here.
Backpack & inventory guide, Spanish map summary, navigation refresh
- New backpack & inventory guide: the hands/back/hip carry rules, all ten supply buildings, what deserves a slot, and drop risk.
- The map & locations page picked up a summary in Spanish alongside the English content.
- A sitewide navigation row now carries every guide from the header.
Contact page added
- New contact page for corrections and questions, linked from the site footer.
Site-wide readiness pass
- Indexing checks, content cleanup, and the groundwork for reader corrections ahead of the ad-network review.
Site launch
- The Big Walk Guide went live with eleven routes: beginner guide, walkthrough, map & locations, mechanics how-tos, crossplay and platform answers, a fact-reference page, and a FAQ. Every fact was checked against the Steam storefront and the live game rather than guessed.
How Pages Get Researched & Revised
- Facts come from official materials first. The Steam store listing, official patch notes, and the live game itself are the primary basis for every claim on this site.
- Unconfirmed things are labeled. Where a number cannot be verified — like a backpack capacity figure — the page says so instead of picking a number.
- Corrections go out fast. Spotted something wrong or outdated? Email sonic6640@gmail.com — fixes land within days, and the change is logged here.
